When it comes to his dental practice, Dr. James A. Burden lives by the Golden Rule, “treat your patients as you would like to be treated.”
Dr. Trieu is committed to delivering the best dental care, using the latest technological advancements, and providing the best treatment for his patients.
Dr. Corbett believes in patient-centered care. She loves how dentistry is a blend of art and science and enjoys helping patients achieve their best smiles.
Dr. Burden received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Medical College of Virginia in 1986. He initially practiced in New York where he gained an extensive knowledge of all aspects of dentistry, including Family Dentistry and Orthodontics. His advanced training includes: Invisalign®, ClearCorrect®, MDI Mini Dental Implant, the Zimmer Institute Dental Implant Course, Misch International Dental Implant Institute, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (D.O.C.S.) I.V. and Oral Conscious Sedation, and Sleep Therapy.
Dr. Burden moved to Williamsburg, VA in 1992. When he’s not caring for his patients, Dr. Burden enjoys an active lifestyle with his grown children which includes traveling, boating, wakeboarding, snowboarding, skiing, weight training and running.
Dr. Hai Trieu was born in Vietnam and moved to the US when he was three years old. Before relocating to the Williamsburg area, he had the privilege of running his own practice for 13+ years in Northern Virginia.
He received his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree at the University of Pennsylvania and went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. He completed his Advanced Education General Dentistry program at the University of Maryland. In addition, Dr. Trieu is a Certified Invisalign provider; has successfully completed Straight Wire Orthodontics training through the United States Dental Institute and completed TMJ studies through Gerber Orthodontics; and attended George Washington University Information Security Management Graduate program for his Masters.
Dr. Trieu is committed to delivering the best dental care, using the latest technological advancements, and providing the best treatment for his patients. While he enjoys all aspects of dentistry, he most favors full mouth restorations and seeing his patients' emotional response, increased confidence and improved overall health once treatment is complete.
When not working, Dr. Trieu has a passion for playing golf and enjoys spending time traveling, biking, playing tennis and barbecuing with his wife of 28+ years and their 10-year-old son.
Dr. Caroline Corbett grew up in the border town of El Paso, TX. For her undergraduate studies, she attended Davidson College and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. During her four years at Davidson, she played Division I Volleyball and earned three consecutive All-Conference Honors. After graduating from Davidson, Dr. Corbett was the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Georgia College. As a past-collegiate student-athlete and collegiate coach, she understands the importance of dedication, and teamwork, and how these attributes directly translate into the dental setting.
Dr. Corbett graduated from the University of Texas (UT) Health San Antonio School of Dentistry with a distinction in Dental Education. She has served with the Christian Medical and Dental Association (CMDA) to help establish daily mobile dental clinics for underserved populations on the South Texas border. She has traveled abroad on dental mission trips to provide care to the people of the Dominican Republic. Dr. Corbett practiced dentistry in Washington State before moving to Virginia.
Dr. Corbett believes in patient-centered care. She loves how dentistry is a blend of art and science and enjoys helping patients achieve their best smiles. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Virginia Dental Association (VDA), and Christian & Medical &; Dental Association (CMDA).
When not practicing dentistry, she enjoys music, hiking, skiing, traveling and spending time with her husband Michael, who serves in the U.S. Army.
